Planning for the mothballs! Posted Fri, 10/02/2020 - 09:28

After quite a bit of planning, Eldrich Host 2.0 — a complete rewrite using the EP2 rules and books — is underway! No ETA at present, but there will be a time in the coming 6-8 months when the EP1 version of this site will be archived and no longer usable. If you currently have character sheets, homebrew materials, or campaign documentation that's hosted here, we'll keep static versions of the content online for quite some time to ensure no one loses anything.

Further updates as events warrant!

Most pirates attack automated cargo ships and longrange supply convoys, with the occasional raid on an asteroid mining station, research outpost, or brinker habitat. On rare occasions they have been known to attack commercial cruisers to rob the wealthy or kidnap socialites. Many pirates take advantage of scum eets as cover, trading with them and using their limited maintenance capabilities. Quite a few also make sideline pro ts as smugglers and/or free traders, often utilizing connections to one of the crime syndicates or political outcasts.

Addison Hütz’s great dream was for transhumanity to experience the widest, most prized and unique collection of music, art, Earth paraphernalia, and exotic items in the universe (for a modest fee). Hütz’s dream became reality in Habitat on the Rock. Part ice castle, part scrapyard, it is considered a work of art in its own right. As curators acquire new materials and architectural plans, Habitat on the Rock takes on its own life and sprouts further from its original asteroid foundation.

This strain transforms its victims into exsurgent infrastructure, immobilizing and transforming them into sculptures and machines meant for a larger TITAN project. The victim’s mind remains intact throughout the transformation until it is rewritten as a complete exsurgent. It is irreversible, but another character can remove the cortical stack of a victim in the first 10 minutes of the transformation. After that, the stack is merged with the rest of the machinery and can no longer be targeted.
